The Competitor had a Copy-Cat business that was started after learning of NCRS. This business was born out of the need to collect Bad Checks and Debts Oscar received while operating a Wholesale/Retail used Car and Truck Dealership. "NCRS" provided Customers Bad Check Protection, Collection, and even Check "Guarantee" with a "Computerized Listing" of persons with Out-Standing Checks to Retailers. Persons on the Computerized Listing could not write checks to Member Merchants until they were removed from the list by paying all Out-Standing Checks to Members. Because of the Large Computerized Accumulation of Bad Check information, including known Bad Check Artist. NCRS started "SCREENING" and "ISSUING" Check Cashing Courtesy Cards for Major Grocery Stores. From the Smallest Retail Merchant to the Largest Chains were among NCRS Clients. Some of the Large Chain Clients were: Walmart, K-mart, JC Penny, Goodyear Service Stores, Woolworth/Woolco, Bargaintown USA, A&P Super Markets and most all of the Major Food Stores in a Seven State area were clients. Oscar Developed a FRANCHISE PROGRAM for NCRS and sold Franchises in Mississippi, Arkansas, Chicago, and California. While continuing to operate seven of the Southeastern States. Because of being the first to do this in the US and the Unique Successful Program. A couple of Franchise Industry National Magazines did cover stories on Oscar and NCRS. Every detail of the NCRS CORPORATION and FRANCHISE PROGRAM, was developed by Oscar. Except the Computer Software. Which was written by a Young Local College Graduate. This was in the days of the Old Dinosaur Computers. Oscar quickly realized to operate the computers and survive. He had to become knowledgeable in the Computer Industry. He did, and has stayed abreast to date of all the differant happenings in that industry. Even though mostly "Self-Taught". Oscar has written and published all of the Company websites, as well as, maintaining all of the other software such as: "POINT-OF-SALE" and "BOOKKEEPING".
